Summer Heat (spoilers contained)
So I just finished watching Summer Heat with Joyce Tang and Joe Ma. I got to say I am impressed. I started watching the drama and didn't expect much from it due to Joyce being the lead. It's the only time I've seen her in a lead. It was pretty good. The series kept me on the edge all the time. There were parts that were a bit draggy.
I love the way Mark Kwok just keep trying to expose Joe's faults but end up failing. He's so cute though. Especially at the end when he and Joe was at the hospital and said "I lost my girlfriend to you". OMG! Mark truly loves Joyce though. But the producers made her fall in love with Joe. I like Joyce with either of them. Mark was just especially funny.
I love Raymond Cho's character. I got to say Sharon and him being a pair looks pretty nice. They were both in Beauty of the Game. My favorite moment of them two was probably when she was at the park and she was "kidnapped". Hilarious when Kenneth Ma came out and was like there's not many perverts out here. Sharon did a pretty good job. Why doesn't she play lawyers more often? I love Raymond's classy style.
I wish there were more of Kenneth Ma but I guess this was the beginning of his career.
Victoria Jane Jolly. She was funny. I love how she is like the opposite of Joyce. I just didn't like parts where she was inconsiderate. But I got to say I was pretty scared when the buglsrer was in the house. She did not wear long pants in the entire series. It's funny how all the villagers hit on her. I love her legs though. It's so nice and long. I'm a girl so don't get me wrong. I'm not a pervert.
Joyce and Joe story. It was a bit draggy. I fastforwarded some parts. It was sweet to see how Joe always came through to help Joyce. I hated that girl that was in love with Joe. She losses me off. Like dude do you know you're cockblocking. But I got to say joYve kissig Joe was hella random. It was sweet but random. I guess their love is a but tvb typical so not much to comment.
Samuel Kwok. I wanted to kill him When he stepped out. I mean my mom kept telling me he's not dead but I mean why are you gonna make everyone suffer. I guess it was to have a drama. He didn't have much in it. But I guess it was sweet how he and his girlfriend called it quits for their children. And by episode 15. I kinda guessed it was Hor Wai that killed him. It was that hard to guess. But I didn't know she had this huge crush on him.
Ending. So typical. He lead male saves the lead female. The bad guys get punished. Everyone is coupled up besides the leads they are a happy couple at the end.
Overall This series get a 4/5 ratings.

TVB 43rd Gala thoughts
Just finished watching tvb gala and it was not one of the best. There were too many actors and actresses missing. A whole lot of fadans and siusangs. (myolie, Shirley, charmaine, sheren, raymond, Ron, sammul, bosco, Kevin, Steven, jessica, Michael miu, Felix, and the list goes on). I like the beginning of the show though with all the series tied in together. But they didn't tie it with ghost writer and chip off the old block. I liked those two series. The rest of the show was pretty blah. I liked when the veterans were dancing to lady gaga. Haha I couldn't make out Susan Tse until later on. The hiphop/drum dancing were horrible. The dancing didn't really coordinate well with the drumming. But I got to say I love the enthusiasm in the drummers especially vincent Wong. The water dancing was just too sloppy. There were too much water it was hard to decipher who was who until the very end, I only saw Nancy and Michael. The water was also on the camera. One thing I don't understand is why do the cameramen for the gala shows always move so fast you can't see anything. For the rest of the show I was like this is boring. I like the rapping contest between the two series though. It was funny to see fala on the no regrets side though and Raymond on the can't buy me love. The ending skit was okay. Not super funny but ok. I think the super voice part was a bit bad. The group doesn't sound good together. I liked the individual singing. Especially Kiki and the other guy.

A little about me
I'm Asian teenager that loves to watch TVB on my spare time. I live in the US. Pretty much typical asian. Nothing much exciting. I enjoy TVB as a child and grew up loving watching dramas even though most of my friends have switched to either Korean or Japanese dramas or anime. I'm not into them. I once in a while watch Mainland dramas but that's like one every year. I like to watch TVB because I like the actors. I usually don't watch it in Cantonese/Mandarin but either English-subbed or Viet-dubbed. But there are occasions where I watch it in Cantonese. I don't watch all the new series. I pick and choose and sometimes even watch old series so my posts will be random. So yeah. That's about it.
